Handmade Chocolates 2

I made some handmade chocolates as Christmas presents for the family.I had acquired some more moulds since my last attempt at chocolate making.I made them in the shape of Christmas trees, ingots, rose shape and heart shape. These were plain chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate, milk chocolate and various combinations of each of them.Mrs Monday Baker then decorated them.

Mrs Monday Baker had some marzipan left over from making her Christmas cake(s) so she made some chocolate cherries to add to the selection(See 'Chocolate Cherries' post for recipe). They seemed to be appreciated and got an amazing reaction when handed out.But the proof,as they say,is in the pudding.Once sampled the taste was deemed excellent as well.
If there was one criticism it was that the white chocolate topped Christmas trees were a little bit sickly due to the amount of white chocolate layer.I personally love white chocolate but when i make them again i will reduce the amount of white chocolate.
