Recipe
.Add the white flour, salt, sugar and yeast to a mixing bowl and stir in.
.Add the butter and mix in till it resembles fine breadcrumbs.
.Make a well in the centre of the bowl and slowly add the water, mixing in the mixture as you do.
.Form into a ball then remove from the bowl.
.Place on a lightly floured surface and knead for about ten minutes.
.Place back in the bowl and cover.Leave to rise in a warm place for about an hour or till double in size.
.Grease a 2lb bread tin.
..Remove the dough from the bowl and split into three.
.Divide the first third into small balls and line them on the base of the bread tin.
.Brush on some marmite with a pastry brush.
.Sprinkle with some cheese.
.Repeat steps 9-11.
.Top off with the rest of the dough.
.Cover and leave to prove in a warm place for 40-50 minutes.
.Bake at 200 degrees c for 40 minutes or so.
.Take the loaf out and if it sounds hollow when tapped it is done.
.If not,bake for a further 5 minutes.
"I hate to admit it but it tastes lovely".
